Nefertiti: Queen of the Sun and the Nile

Created a mixed-media drawing based on visual research of an ancient sculpture in 2025. Produced handmade toned paper using coffee to create an aged surface. Used charcoal, graphite, chalk, ink, watercolor, micro pen, and collage. Applied hatching, cross- hatching, and cross-contour techniques to create the illusion of volume. Developed a composed page layout featuring multiple images and three perspectives from photographic reference. Project for Drawing 1 class at UNC Charlotte.
